James Couchman

James has more than 20 years in rail and joined in 2026 as Client Development Director for Managed Solutions in Rail. He builds senior relationships with new and existing clients and shapes solutions around what they actually need. Previously, he spent 17 years leading a recruitment division supplying rolling stock manufacturers across the UK and Europe, and before that worked in HR at Bombardier Transportation. He takes particular pride in growing trainee consultants into senior members of the team.
